Wilde Aparthotels Vienna Fleischmarkt - January 2026

In the heart of the 1st district, between Fleischmarkt, Schwedenplatz and St. Stephen’s Cathedral, a new place to stay has opened that deliberately positions itself between hotel and residential living. Wilde Aparthotels Vienna Fleischmarkt occupies a building that is more than 300 years old; once a post office, it is now part of the revitalized Posthöfe. The address alone has plenty to offer: narrow lanes, historic facades and short distances in every direction. Guests staying here can reach Stephansplatz, the Danube Canal or the Schwedenplatz subway station within just a few minutes. And yet the neighborhood feels less shaped by tourism than other parts of the inner city — urban, lively and with a rhythm of its own. More Info

It was founded by four friends – Kai Hollmann, Florian Kollenz, Christian Lainer, and Michael Todt – who have already demonstrated a flair for stylish comfort with Superbude Wien and the rooftop restaurant NENI am Prater.
