Day 1 – Viennese cuisine and tradition reimagined:
Begin your culinary journey in the heart of Vienna and combine history with indulgence.
Immerse yourself in the world of Viennese coffeehouses and enjoy coffeehouse culture in its most authentic form. On this guided tour with Artemezzo, you will visit traditional institutions such as Café Central, Demel, and Landtmann. Discover the many Viennese coffee specialties as well as beloved pastries like apple strudel and Gugelhupf.
- Lunch
Savor Viennese classics with a modern twist: at Meierei im Stadtparkclassic cuisine meets lightness and idyllic views of the park. Lara impresses with creative and seasonal vegetable-based cuisine. Schwarze Kameel dates back to 1618 and is Vienna’s oldest hotspot. Konstantin Filippou’s fine dining restaurant serves fish dishes of the highest standard.
Day 1 Afternoon:
Experience the rhythm and pace of an international Michelin-starred kitchen alongside two-Michelin-starred chef Silvio Nickol. In this cooking class, you will prepare three courses side by side with the master chef and then enjoy them in the restaurant. This experience can also be combined with a private tour of Palais Coburg’s legendary wine cellar.
- Option B: Baking workshop at Kruste & Krume
Discover the fine art of bread baking in a private workshop at Kruste & Krume. Under the guidance of experienced master bakers, you will create a true piece of Viennese tradition, from fragrant sourdough to golden-brown hand-shaped pastries.
- Dinner at a bistro: Viennese cuisine with character
The Beisl (bistro) is a place where hospitality, honest cooking and a convivial atmosphere have been cherished for centuries. Today, this time-honored tavern is enjoying a stylish renaissance: creative chefs reinterpret the classics, transforming down-to-earth dishes into refined culinary experiences.
At Pramerl & the Wolf, chef Wolfgang Zankl-Sertl marries fine dining with a Beisl soul: minimalist, precise and with a surprise in every course. Skopik & Lohn, by contrast, showcases Viennese cuisine with an artistic touch, set amid avant-garde murals, with a kitchen that blends tradition with nonchalance and style.
Day 2 – Art, Indulgence & Dining Culture:
In Vienna, art and cuisine merge into a cohesive aesthetic experience. Experience masterful compositions that delight the palate and the eyes alike.
An exclusive culinary tour before the museum opens to the public offers insights into how the indulgence of food and drink is portrayed in art. The tour focusses on the long tradition of depicting food and drink in art, using selected masterpieces such as Bruegel’s The Peasant Wedding, Jordaens’ The Feast of the Bean King and other appetizing examples. Afterwards, enjoy a refreshment in the museum’s beautiful café.
- Lunch: palatial dining
Lunch in a Viennese city palace blends historic splendor with contemporary indulgence. At Gerstner im Palais Todesco, guests can sample exclusive menus in sumptuous state rooms (advance reservations required). SeeSushi at Palais Ferstel pairs Japanese-Austrian fusion cuisine with quintessential Viennese architecture.
Day 2 Afternoon:
Discover how Vienna’s rich dining culture turns indulgence into an art form on an exclusive tour with guide Jascha Novak from Hidden Vienna Tours. Traditional Viennese establishments such as Lobmeyr, Jarosinski & Vaugoin and Die Schwäbische Jungfrau bring timeless elegance to the table with handcrafted crystal, fine silver and exquisite linens.
A visit to the historic Augarten Porcelain Manufactory is an homage to Viennese craftsmanship and refined living. A private tour opens the doors to a world of royal tableware – from artistically painted, one-of-a-kind porcelain pieces to the secrets of their manufacture. The grand finale is an exclusive champagne tasting, paired with exquisite culinary delicacies.
- Dinner at a gourmet restaurant
Bring the evening to a close at a gourmet restaurant of world-class caliber.
At Amador, guests experience avant-garde haute cuisine executed with flawless precision: a harmony of innovation and perfection set within a breathtaking wine cellar. Jola offers an intimate fine-dining experience with modern, vegetarian-inspired cuisine distinguished by lightness, creativity and a personal touch. The legendary Steirereck im Stadtpark, an icon of Austrian gastronomy, blends regional authenticity with international stature and embodies Vienna’s culinary culture at a world-class level like few other restaurants.
Day 3 - Sustainable Luxury and Viennese Producers:
True luxury today is defined by authenticity and local provenance. Discover where Vienna produces, creates and draws inspiration.
A luxury picnic is the perfect way to start the day. Whether amid picturesque vineyards or set against the backdrop of a historic city palace, savor delectable pastries and artfully arranged delicacies, accompanied by fine Viennese wine. In case of inclement weather, the experience takes place in an atmospheric indoor venue – luxurious, bespoke and always exceptional.
Day 3 Afternoon:
Vienna’s agricultural scene is not only synonymous with excellent wine, but also with exceptional delicacies. A visit to the snail farm, Schneckenmanufaktur Gugumuck, in the south of the city offers sustainable indulgence of the highest standard. Private tours of the extensive grounds are offered between May and October, accompanied by fine tastings in the company’s elegant bistro. On selected evenings, a multi-course fine-dining menu centered around the Viennese vineyard snail is served – artfully staged and harmoniously paired with exquisite Viennese wines.
Vienna is the only metropolis in the world with significant urban viticulture, a distinction that makes this experience truly one-of-a-kind. Join Bianca Gusenbauer on a tailor-made tour through select Viennese vineyards. Curated tastings, personal encounters with renowned winemakers and stop-offs at refined culinary venues combine into a stylish culinary experience where city and nature meet.
- Dinner
The finale of this culinary journey is an evening that unites mindful enjoyment with top-tier cuisine. Two outstanding addresses show how sustainability and luxury converge harmoniously in Vienna.
At the Tian Restaurant, guests experience vegetarian fine dining of Michelin caliber, with artfully composed dishes inspired by the seasonality and aesthetics of nature. Bruder is synonymous with urban esprit and culinary avant-garde. Here, fermented flavors meet artisanal precision and effortless elegance.
Additional tip: Dinner at a museum? In Vienna, culture becomes a culinary delight. Combine a museum visit with an exceptional dinner experience: for example, at the Kunsthistorisches Museum for the Thursday Dinner, at the Albertina with dinner at Do&Co or at the Museum of Applied Arts in the stylish Salonplafond.
