Documenting Accessibility
Publish an accessibility statement: an accessibility statement on the website demonstrates commitment and documents the current status, significantly reducing the risk of penalties
Provide a contact option for accessibility feedback
Possible Legal Consequences
The Federal Social Office (Sozialministeriumservice) acts as the market surveillance authority. In the event of non-compliance, administrative fines may be imposed, the amount of which varies depending on the size of the business. For first-time or minor violations, the principle of "advice before penalties" applies.
