• The Volksoper is Vienna's great house for operetta, opera, musicals, and ballet, and has been offering sophisticated musical entertainment for over 125 years. Colorful, diverse, and vivacious, it is the only theater in Vienna dedicated to the genre of operetta.

• The Hofburg Vienna, one of Vienna's most important convention centers, hosted Austria's first Eurovision Song Contest in 1967.
