The Vienna Tourist Board has been particularly focused on the international luxury market since 2011. This continues to be supported by engaging in activities within select international markets and hosting workshops in the respective cities. This allows for regular information exchange with partners about the needs of this target group, creating lasting synergies. Many of the most renowned Viennese providers of luxury goods and experiences are highlighted in the video. As an illustration: filming took place on location in the Vienna State Opera House, the Vienna Art History Museum, the Hotel Sacher, and the Spanish Riding School.
Vienna's commitment to the luxury travel market was recently celebrated with the award for "Most Desirable Destination 2021" from the luxury travel network Traveller Made®. Among the other cities up for "Most Desired Preferred Destination," Vienna came out ahead of Zurich, Japan, New Zealand, Korea, and Australia.
