Vienna Card relaunches with new prices

The popular Vienna Card has increased its price, the 48 hour card now costs € 21,90 and the 72 hour card now costs € 24,90. This change was made official in April 2016. A new distributor of the Vienna Card, DocLX, was made official in January 2016.

Guests who currently hold an older version of the card (at the previous prices) can use these cards until 31.12.2016. Coupon booklets should be exchanged even for holders of the old card!

The Vienna Card entitles one child up to the age of 15 to travel with the card-holder for free on public transportation within the city.

The Vienna Card is available in hotels and from the Tourist Info offices at Albertinaplatz (09:00–19:00 daily), at the Vienna Main Station (09:00–19:00 daily) and at the airport (07:00–22:00 daily), at the Wiener Linien ticket and information offices (e.g. Stephansplatz, Karlsplatz, Westbahnhof, Landstraße/Wien Mitte) or in our online shop.

It is valid from date of issue. The included Vienna Lines ticket is valid for 48 or 72 hours after validation. However, discounts offered by the Vienna Card can still be enjoyed throughout the final day of the card's validity.

Instructions on how to use the Vienna Card can be found in the 124-page book of coupons given free of charge to everyone who purchases the Vienna Card.

In 2015, 354,610 Vienna Cards were sold, the best sales result in the 20-year history of the card.
