Vienna Media News 07/2014 Festivals of street art and performance

Visitors to the free open-air Buskers festival on Karlsplatz from September 4-6, 2014 will be entertained by over 50 groups performing all sorts of different acts. The artists from all over the world include acrobats, fire-eaters, mime artists, jugglers, magicians, dancers, actors and musicians. Youngsters can paint, try their hand at arts and crafts or jump around on the bouncy castle. There is also a variety of workshops and a great selection of food on offer. The party continues into the night in Vienna’s clubs where the street artists perform alongside live bands and DJs.

While Buskers Festival Vienna will take place for the fourth time in 2014, the Streetlife Festival is making its debut this year. Streetlife on Babenbergerstrasse near the Ringstrasse and the Kunsthistorisches Museum kicks off with over 50 attractions including street art, urban gardening, urban knitting and street sports like slacklining and dance karaoke.
