Happy Birthday Albertina!

The new ball season awaits

Introducing Vienna's new Eruv
An Eruv is a ritual enclosure designed to make aspects of Jewish life more convenient on the Sabbath. Demarcated by the customary symbolic boundary, a new Eruv has recently been introduced in Vienna, stretching from the outer ring road to the river Danube and encompassing the central districts of the city.

Reopening of the Vienna Kunstkammer

New concert hall for the Vienna Boys' Choir
Come December 2012, the Vienna Boys' Choir will have a new venue for its concerts and children's operas. In addition to a state-of-the-art concert hall for the world famous choir, the new complex being built in Vienna's Augarten park will also include a music and theater center for children and teenagers.

A festival of shopping

Vienna Card price increase

These rover tickets entitle holders to 72 hours' unlimited travel on the subway, bus and tram, as well as 210 discounts and special concessions at participating ventures throughout the city. In line with rising public transportation costs, the price of a Vienna Cards will increase to EUR 19.90 in May 2012.
