The Easter Market in front of Schönbrunn Palace will open for the tenth time next year on March 24. Alongside traditional handicrafts and specialty food and drink, jazz and soul music will set the musical backdrop and usher in the spring. A number of young designers will be among the 50 or so stallholders. Their eye-catching ranges will show just how creative art and design for Easter can be. At the Easter bunny workshop, children can craft their very own gifts and palm decorations.
With around 40,000 brightly-colored Easter eggs, the Old Viennese Easter market at Freyung will be transformed into Europe's largest egg mountain! More than 40 stall holders will present their traditional wares including candles, floral decorations, wood carvings, decorative ceramics and glassware. A craft workshop and rabbit run are sure to get children in the mood for Easter. The Am Hof Easter Market is just around the corner on the square of the same name. Here, visitors can pick up all kinds of one-offs from the artisans' stalls.
