"Joseph Haydn 2009" Sales Manual
Joseph Haydn (1732–1809) was a modest man, though he was the most famous composer of his day. He rose from a village childhood to receive an honorary doctorate from Oxford University, taught Beethoven, and was referred to by Mozart as his “fatherly friend.“ Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven were the three masters of the Viennese Classical era.

The Haydn Sales Manual tells you which of the master’s works you will be able to hear in 2009, and where you will be able to retrace his footsteps. It provides a preview of the program of events at the locations where Haydn’s music was born, being prepared for Haydn Year 2009.
Work on the program is in progress, and regular updates will be posted on our website www.vienna.info/haydn-year-2009, in our online database and on the website of ArGe Haydn 2009 (including the program in Burgenland, Lower Austria and the city of Sopron/Hungary) ww.haydn2009.net.
We hope that our sales manual will help you to sell as many Haydn Year 2009 packages as possible.
